-3 ( 5 - b ) =
-15 + 3b =
That is how you rewrite it, because it means the same thing.
-3 ( 5 - b ) =
-15 + 3b =
+15 +15
3b = 15
/3 /3
b = 5
incase you wanted to know how to solve to.
I hope this helped, HAVE A NICE DAY.
WELCOME :/

= -3 (5-b)
= -3 (5 + (-b))
= (-3 x -b) + (-3 x 5)
= 3b + (-15)
= 3b -15
