SOLUTION

The graph below is a wave that cuts the y-axis at a point close to -1.

So our answer should be between


\begin{gathered} y=cos(x-1)\text{ or} \\ y=sin(x-2) \end{gathered}

But the cosine graph would cut the y-axis at a positive y-value, while the sine graph does that at a negative y-value.

Hence the answer is


y=sin(x-2)

Hence the answer is option C
