We have a geometric sequence: 6, -2, 2/3...

If we divide the second term by the first, we have (-2)/6=-1/3.

If we divide the third term by the second we have:

d=(a_3)/(a_2)=((2)/(3))/(-2)=(-1)/(3)

Then, we know that the common sequence of this sequence is d=-1/3.
