you have a standard deck of 52 cards. you pick one card and then, with out putting the first card back, you pick a second card. what is the probability that both cards will be 9s?

Prob of picking 9 in 1st turn = 4 / 52

Prob of picking 9 is 2nd turn = 3/51

So Probability for both = 4 * 3 / (52*51)
=1/221
