60 people will be attending a dinner party. each table at the party can seat 8 people. how many tables are needed? write and solve the number fact you used to find the answer and explain your reasoning.

60 people* (1 table/ 8 people)= 7.5 tables.

Because we can't have 7 and 1/2 tables, the number of tables needed is 8 tables~

there will be 8 tables beacuse 60 / 8 is 7 rem 5 only 8 people at a table so i can squese people in so i get another table for the left over people this a divison problem you interberate the remainder
