(a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2 <--this is formula

x^2-6x+9=0

x^2-(2*1*3)x+3^2=0 a=1,b=3

x^2 - 6x = -9\\\\x^2 - 6x +9=0\\ \\a=1, \ \ b=-6, \ \ c=9 \\\\ \Delta =b^2-4ac = (-6)^2 -4\cdot1\cdot 9 = 36 -36 =0 \\ \\x_(o)=(-b )/(2a)=( 6)/(2 )=3
