I believe the answer is B, produces offspring by mitosis. Vegetative propagation is  a form of asexual reproduction occurring in plants in which new plants in which a new plant grows a fragment of the parent plant or grows from a specialized reproductive structure (such as a stolon, rhizome, tuber, corm, or bulb). The process involves mitosis to form new off springs and does not require gametes, flowers, or fertilization.
