The sentence that does not contain any punctuation errors is A) It will be a cold, lonely night.

B) It will be a cold, lonely, night. <-- The comma after lonely is not necessary.

C) It will be a cold lonely night. <-- There should be a comma after cold. It sounds like you are rambling a bunch of words together.

D) It will be a cold lonely, night. <-- Comma should be after cold, not lonely.

The answer is A. I say this because comma's are used to show a pause in speech. When you are saying that, you pause before saying lonely, You don't just say it all at once, if you do, it can be misunderstood. Hope i helped. Have a nice day
