To solve for x we will do the following steps. Then we will check our work. Lets do it:-
17 - x = 13
17 - 13 = x
17 - 13 = 4
x = 4
CHECK OUR WORK:-
17 - 4 = 13
We were
RIGHT!!!
So,
x = 4.
