Okay, so we're going to take this one number at a time:

Number 1:
--> First find the decimal equivalents of each answer choice:
11/40=.275
3/25=.12
25/48=.5208333(with the threes' repeating)
7/32=.21875
*all you do is divide the numerator [the number on top] by the denominator [the number on the bottom]
--> Now see which fraction has a decimal equivalent that has repeating numbers
11/40 No
3/25 No
25/48 Yes
7/32 No
--> So the answer would be 25/48 or 'c'

Number 2:
-->So what you do is simplify the equation using the distributive property or in other words, distribute the number on the outside to the numbers inside the parentheses.
9(10+x)
9*10+9*x
90+9x
--> So the answer is 90+9x or 'b'!

1.Answer=C

25/48= 0.52083333333 (with the three's repeating...)

2.Answer=B

9(10+x)
to simplify, we distribute the 9 to both terms in the expression within the parenthesis...
90+9x
