s×0.03=raise
s would be your salary, multiplied by 3%, which in decimal form is 0.03. This gives you your raise.

The amount of the raise would be
(the amount you make now) times (0.03) .
The amount you would make after the raise would be
(the amount you make now) times (1.03) .
