7 hours = 7 x 60 minutes = 420 minutes

350 miles in 420 minutes.

Divide both numbers by 420

350/420 miles in 420/420 minutes.


(350)/(420) = (35)/(42) = (5* 7)/(6* 7) = \boxed{(5)/(6)}

5/6 miles in 1 minute.

(350 miles / 7 hours) x (1 hour / 60 minutes)

= ( 350 x 1) / (7 x 60) (mile / minute) = 5/6 mile/minute
