1. Joanna made a quilt using 72 squares
=> ¼ were green
=> 2/9 were blue
=> 4/9 were yellow
=> 1/12 were white
To get the value of this given fractions, it’s easiest to convert it into decimals
=> green = 0.25 = 18
=> Blue = 0.22 = 15.8
=> yellow = 0.44 = 31.7
=> White = 0.083 = 5.98 or 6
Seeing on the decimal value, therefore white has the least number out of 4 colors.
