Which word in the sentence is a gerund?

The ducks, waddling like a toddler's walking, proceeded across the grass.

There are two verbs in the sentence..I don't know which one to pick.. ;-;

I think the answer is walking because it's preceded by the possissive s and to my knowledge the possissive s is followed by a noun which is in this case a gerund.
