You have the following function:

f(x) = 2(1/5)ˣ

IN order to find the y-intercept of the previos function, make x = 0:

f(0) = 2(1/5)⁰

f(0) = 2(1)

f(0) = 2

Hence, the y-intercept of f(x) is f(0) = 2
