Pick two points. For example, (0,3) and (2,4)
First, find the slope:
The slope is 1/2.
Now we have this much of the equation:
y = 1/2x + b
Plug in the point (0,3) to find the value of b
3 = (1/2)(0) + b
b = 3
Your final equation is
y = 1/2x + 3
.
