If you have the length of one side of a square (4 feet), you just multiply it by 4.

4 x 4 = 16

The Perimeter is 16

the sides of a square are congruent so if one side is 4' all the sides are 4'
thus you only need to multiply 4' by 4 to get the perimeter: 16'
