(2)/(3x) + (4)/(x) = (7)/(x+1)

(2)/(3x) + (12)/(3x) = (7)/(x+1)

(14)/(3x) = (7)/(x+1)

Cross\ multiply :

14(x+1) = 7 * 3x

14x+14 = 21x

14x-21x =-14

-7x =-14

x = (-14)/(-7)

\boxed{x=2}

(2)/(3x) + (4)/(x) = (7)/(x+1) \\ \\x\\eq 0 \ \ and \ \x+1\\eq 0 \\ \\x\\eq 0 \ \ and \ \x \\eq -1

(2 )/(3x)+(4)/(x) = (7)/(x+1) \\\\\ (2+12)/(3x) = (7)/(x+1) \\ \\(14)/(3x) = (7)/(x+1)\\ \\14(x+1)=3x\cdot 7

14 x+14=21x \\ \\14=21x-14x \\ \\ 7x=14 \ \ /: 7 \\ \\x=2
