Answer:

(4,-4)

x=4

y= -4

Explanation:

We know that y is equal to and so we can plug the y value in for x into the other equation

-2x+5(-x)= -28

Solve for x

-2x-5x= -28

-7x= -28

x=4

Now that we know that x= -4 we can plug this into one of the two starting equations and solve for y

y= -(4)

y= -4
