The two main disagreements about in the constitutional convention both had to do with representation--the first being over how the large number of slaves in the Southern states should be counted, and the second being how the representatives themselves should be appointed to Congress. The formed issue was settled with the 3/5 compromise, while the second was settled with the Connecticut Compromise.
