How you tell the between yo manzana and tu manzana

The only zone that has a different pronunciation for "y" is Argentina and there, the "y" .... I know that J's sound like H's. I would think it would sound like yo not jo, but i may be wrong. .... So what is the different between "como" and "come"? ... I eat - (Yo) como | You eat -(Tu) comes | He/She eats - (él / ella) come
