Is the product of 3/4 and 7/8 greater than 7/8? Don't I just have to multiply the fractions to get the answer?

The product of 3/4 and 7/8 (=0.65625) is indeed greater than 7/8 (=0.875) itself. You need to simplify the product of the fractions and the fraction 7/8 into decimal form in order to compare the values.

Yes the product of 3/4 and 7/8 is greater than 7/8

you have to simply multiply the fractions but using the sign > and not = while writing the equation down.

3/4 x 7/8 > 7/8

21/32 > 7/8 solution
