Since we are dealing with a fair coin toss, the theoretical probability says that heads is as likely to occur as tails.

In each of the experiment we would expect half the number of tosses to be heads and the other half to be tails. For 100 trials this should mean 50 of each. For 50 trials this should mean 25 of each.

As we can see from the results, neither of the experiments match the theoretical probability.

However, group Y is closer to the experimental probability that group x.

Correct option: 1st option
