How to solve -4(3+x)=-28

you would multiply -4 and 3 and the multiply -4 and x and you would get -12-4x=-28 then add 12 to both sides and you would het -4x=-16 and divide -4 on both side and then answer would be x=4 because a negative divided by a negative is a positive hope i helped!

Clear the parentheses on the left side :

-12 - 4x = -28

Add 12 to each side:

- 4x = -16

Divide each side by -4 :

x = 4
