If you do the ratio between the price and the amount of cheese, you'll get the answer:

(11.25\$)/(1.24\ lb) = \bf 9.07(\$)/(lb)

we know that

The unit price is the cost per unit, and to find the unit price, divide the price by the number of units

so

Unit\ price =(11.25)/(1.24) (usd)/(pound) \\ \\ Unit\ price=9.07(usd)/(pound)

therefore

the answer is

The unit price is
9.07(usd)/(pound)
