9 out of 11 so you divide 11 by 9 to get 1.2 repeating. Or you can say that you are seeing how many time 9 can go into 11.

to find the decimal form of 9/11 (ha 9/11....) you simply divide 9 by 11 (9 ÷ 11)

so, 9 ÷ 11 = 0.81
