17x - 6 + 3x - 5 = x + 11 + 4x
The first thing to do is to get all the xs on the same side.
17x + 3x - x - 4x = 11 + 5 + 6
15x = 22
x = 22/15
The answer is x = 22/15
22 - 15 = 7
If this needs to be simplified, the answer is x = 1 7/15
