The function passes through points (-2,-2) and (0,4).

The general formula for the slope of the linear function is,

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Determine the slope of linear function.

\begin{gathered} m=(4-(-2))/(0-(-2)) \\ =(6)/(2) \\ =3 \end{gathered}

Thus slope of linear function is 3.
