7−4x+3=x−16−3x

Simplify

7−4x+3=x−16−3x

7+−4x+3=x+−16+−3x

(−4x)+(7+3)=(x+−3x)+(−16)(Combine Like Terms)

−4x+10=−2x+−16

−4x+10=−2x−16

Add 2x to both sides.

−4x+10+2x=−2x−16+2x

−2x+10=−16

Subtract 10 from both sides.

−2x+10−10=−16−10

−2x=−26

Divide both sides by -2.

−2x/−2=−26/−2

x=13
