Use the PEMDAS rule.
PEMDAS stands for Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction.

(6+1) is in parenthesis so you do it first.
6+1=7

The result is 30-7.
30-7=23

The answer is 23.
