Frank bought 653 acres of land for a housing development. If 37 acres of his purchase is reserved for a park, how many four-acre building lots are available for sale?

First, we subtract the reserved land, leaving 653-37=616 remaining acres.  Dividing by 4 to get the number of available lots, we have 616/4=154 available building lots.
