Two angles are supplementary. If one of these angles measures 50 degrees more than the other, find the measure of the smaller angle.

x= small angle x+50= larger angle supplementary angles=180 degrees x+x+50= 180 combine like terms 2x+50=180 subtract 50 2x= 130 divide by 2 x= 65 degrees for the smaller angle 115 degrees for the larger hope this helps
