The geometric mean of two numbers is the square root of the product of the numbers.
x - the other number

√(6x)=√(6) \\ (√(6x))^2=(√(6))^2 \\ 6x=6 \\ x=(6)/(6) \\ x=1

The other number is 1.

Answer: The value of another number is 6.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Geometric mean = √6

One number = 6

Let the another number be x

As we know the formula for "Geometric mean":

√(ab)=6\\\\ab=6^2\\\\6* x=36\\\\x=(36)/(6)\\\\x=6

Hence, the value of another number is 6.
