To find out 30% of £9.50 what you do is,
30/100 = 3/10
Then,
£9.50 divided by 10 = £0.95
£0.95 x 3 = £2.85
The answer is £2.85.

in order to find out the answer you times 30 by £9.50 and you get 285 and then you divide the answer by 100 and you get £2.85
