What are whole numbers and what are real numbers?

A whole number is a number that does not contain decimal parts or fractions and is ≥ 0. For example: 0, 1, 2, 3

A real number is a number that is either rational or irrational. For example, -1, √2, 3.3, 4

Whole numbers are numbers have no decimals and no negatives
Ex: 1,3, 5, 8, ...
Real numbers contain all kind of numbers, decimal, fractions, negative numbers, ..
Ex: -3,
(5)/(7), 925.7, ...
