Graphing linear equations

Put a point at the y-intercept (0, 10).
Then use the slope to find other points.
The slope -1 is actually -1/1 (the /1 is left out)
The rise is -1, and the run is 1.
So for every change of 1 in x, make a change of -1 in y.
Go to the right 1 and down 1, plot a point. Do this again and again.
You can also do it in the opposite direction.
Use as straightedge to connect your points.
