First u arrange da numbers in order from smallest to biggest:
5, 11, 19, 23, 45, 45, 62, 98
If it was a data set of an odd number (For example 9 numbers then u would get da fifth number as da median), but this is an even number of 8 numbers.
So u have to add da two numbers in da middle n divide by 2 (in this case 23+45÷2=34

Re-arrange the set of data in order from smallest to biggest.

= 5, 11, 19, 23, 45, 45, 62, 98.

So let's take the two middle values and subtract.

23 - 45

Middle value = 22
