Unfair policies of taxation led to the meeting of the estates general, which led to the storming of bastille, which led to the execution of the king. So tyethe answer is: Unfair policies of taxation. :)

The correct answer is
(2) unfair policies of taxation
Unfair policies of taxation existed because the government was running out of money since the monarchy was spending it all on their own goods as if the budget was their own wallet. Because of this, the meeting happened and they decided to protest and stormed the Bastille eventually which led to the capture and the execution of the King.
