119.5 * 0.2= 23.9
119.5-23.9= 95.6

To find 20% of 119.50 you multiply 119.50 by 20% in decimal form
Then you subtract the discount (d) from the total to get your new price (n)
119.5*.2=d
23.9=d
119.5-d=n
119.5-23.9=95.6
So the new price is
$95.60
