Answer:

X = 27

Explanation:

I don't know what you mean by solving "for 2"

- 8 ( x - 2 ) + 8 = - 6 ( x + 5 )

= -8x + 16 + 8 = -6x - 30

Subtract 24 from both sides and add 6x to both sides.

= -8x + 6x + 24 - 24 = -6x + 6x - 30 - 24

= -2x = -54

divide both sides by "-2"

x = 27

Answer:

x = 27

Explanation:

-8(x-2)+8= -6(x+5)

-8x+16+8= -6x-30

-8x+24= -6x-30

-8x+24-24= -6x-30-24

-8x = -6x-54

-8x+6x= -6x+6x-54

-2x = -54

-2x/-2 = -54/-2

x = 27

hope it's helpful ❤❤❤❤❤❤

THANK YOU.
