Since 2x and 5x have the same variable u have to add them
2x + 5x = 7x + 9
7x + 9 will be the answer

I'm assuming x2 means x^2, so the polynomial is unable to be factored so you plug it into the quadratic formula. (-b+/- sqr(4ac-a^2))/2a. Once you do this your final product is positive/negative 7/9
