PLEASE HELP:(

Find the cost per pound of a "house blend" of coffee that is made from 20 lb of Central American coffee that costs $7 per pound and 30 lb of South American coffee that costs $5.50 per pound.

If we have 20lb of coffee costing $7/pound, that costs:
20*7 = $140
The 30lb of coffee costing $5.50/pound will cost:
30*5.5 = $165
Adding these two together:
140+165 = $305
So the total cost would be $305, but since this is for 50lb, we have to divide by 50 to find the cost per pound.
305/50 = $6.10 per pound
