(3x+6y=6) x 2
(2x-3y =4) x 3
Subtract them:
(6x+12y =12)
-
(6x - 9y =12)
21y
=
0
21 21
y= 0
Using this, we can say that:
3X+6(0)=6 or 3x = 6
2X-3(0)=4 or 2x = 4
So therefore,
x must equal 2
