If a girl buys a shirt for $21.99 and she gives the cashier a $50.00 Bill how much will she get back well let's do the math...:) $50.00-$21.99= $28.01 so the cashier will give $28.01 back to you.....hope it helps :)

payment=50.00
change=payment-cost
change=50.00-21.99
change=48.00+2.00-20.00-1.99
change=48.00-20.00+2.00-1.99
