it would be 50 degrees, because it is a vertical angle with the one below it, which is 50 degrees. i was taught that vertical angles are congruent

The two triangles are the same.
Find the third angle of the triangle on the bottom.
All 3 angles of a triangle add up to 180.
65 + 65 = 130
Now subtract it from 180:
180 - 130 = 50
So 'x' is equal to 50 degrees.
