When x = 3 and y = 5, by how much does the value of 3x2 – 2y exceed the value of 2x2 – 3y ?

the answer goes up by 14 because the first problem equals 8 and the second problem equals --3 therefor the difference is 14

3\cdot3^2-2\cdot5=27-10=17\\ 2\cdot3^2-3\cdot5=18-15=3\\\\ 17-3=14
