Why is it hard to see glacial erosion in action?

Hi there! The reason why it's hard to see glacial erosion in action is because glacial erosion takes time. Glaciers are huge mounds of ice, and it takes a couple YEARS of action to erode something, much less one sitting. Hope I helped!!
