Given:

Total people = 6

Split = 7/8

Find-:

The unit rate in pounds per person

Explanation-:

Unit rate of change is:

=(y)/(x)

So, the rate change is:

\begin{gathered} =((7)/(8))/(6) \\ \\ =(7)/(8*6) \end{gathered}

So, unite rate of change is:

\begin{gathered} =(7)/(8*6) \\ \\ =(7)/(48) \\ \\ =0.1458 \end{gathered}

So, the rate of change is 0.1458
