What is the 50th term of the arithmetic sequence 4, 10, 16, 22, … ?

Can someone explain this one?

298, also 4 is first term. 49 terms left. 49*6=294
294+4=298

The equation appropriate for this is

a_(n)=a_(1)+(n-1)d
Wherein
_(n) is the missing term,
a_(1) is the first number in the sequence, and
d is the difference between the numbers.
So
a_(50)=4+(50-1)6

a_(50)=4+(49*6)

a_(50)=4+(294)

a_(50)=298
