Hi tutor, Please explain the connection between the derivative of a constant, and the slope of a tangent, of a function.If possible, can you please use a diagram too to help explain? , I just needed clarification on whether the answer is that they’re both zero or otherwise

The derivative of a constant is zero

, the only condition to have a slope of zero is when the function is a constant and a constant function has no tangent.

Hence, the answer is Otherwise.
